In her early 20's Kerry Farnsworth saw an opportunity in the town to offer a range of agricultural products. And so in 1994 Kerry set up shop and Welland Valley Feeds was born. Operating out of a small unit on Leicester Road, Market Harborough.
Business quickly picked up and Welland Valley Feeds expanded their Leicester Road site which was formally a car showroom.
Listening to customer needs has always been at the core of Welland Valley Feeds principles as it diversified into new product categories, including pet and equestrian.
To keep up with its success Countrywide Farmers invested in the company in 1998, then known as Midland Shire Farmers.
In 2009 it was time for a new location. Reaching its maximum capacity at the much loved Leicester Road store the business relocated to the current Rockingham Road site.
With loyal customers and a great team Welland Valley Feeds proudly celebrated 25 years of trading.
